The Rio Fortuna waterfall is located at the Arenal Volcano National Park, with a large annual rainfall of more than 4000 ml and temperatures between 18 and 35 ° C, which generates an abundant vegetation and diversity of fauna. The waterfall is the result of the Rio Fortuna and its small tributaries that spring in the mountains of the Park, supported on rocky valuable geological bases and enrich the beauty of the place. At the base of the waterfall you will find a delicious “natural pool” where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. When you visit the Rio Fortuna waterfall as well as obtaining a great spiritual motivation of love for nature, you will help to bring resources to the Community Development Association that will be invest in social projects, benefiting schools, Nutrition Center, the children house, road infrastructure and other. Note: This tour is not recommended for people with knee problems as there are more than 500 steps down to the pond and same trail to return. Departure: AM/PM.
