The Rio Fortuna waterfall is located at the Arenal Volcano National Park, with a large annual rainfall that generates abundant vegetation and diversity of animal life.

The waterfall is the result of the Rio Fortuna. Some small streams exist in the mountains of the Park. At the waterfall base, you will find a beautiful "natural pool" where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. You have the opportunity to either hike or take a horseback ride through this amazing landscape.

When you visit the Rio Fortuna waterfall, you can not only obtain a spiritual love for nature, but you will help bring resources to the Community Development Association that will be invested in social projects - benefiting schools, the Nutrition Center, the children's house, road infrastructure, and more.
