We will travel to a small town called Atirro, which is fifteen minutes from Turrialba. A guide will give a description of what travelers must do during the tour and give a safety talk on the rules and procedures for the horseback riding tour. During the two-hour horseback ride, travelers will pass sugar cane and coffee plantations and a secondary forest. In the jungle, the guide will explain the development of secondary forests and native plants. They will be able to observe a great variety of birds such as: orioles, tanagers, black turkeys, and other animals such as: sloths and monkeys. In addition, the horseback ride will take you through areas with impressive views of natural beauty. They will also enjoy a break at a viewpoint, offering a breathtaking view of the entire Turrialba valley and the surrounding mountains. The tour lasts approximately 2:00 hours, no previous experience in horse riding is needed and clients must bring extra clothes to change.
