The Cahuita National Park has the largest coral reef system in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide variety of colorful tropical fish, and the occasional encounter with a reef shark or manta ray. This beach is shaped like a horseshoe, with the park entrance at one end and the beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end. We'll start with a 20-minute scenic boat ride to have two snorkel sessions. Then we get off at La Punta to enjoy a delicious selection of fruit and snacks on the beach, with a guided walk of 3.5 km and lasting 1.5 hours in this wonderful coastal forest. You may see monkeys, sloths, birds, iguanas, and other interesting animals and you'll get great information from your guide on these species.
