Nature by itself is pretty mystic, that is why this is the main focus of this calming and relaxing trip. You will be able to explore a cloud forest with a beautiful waterfall, relax in the hot springs of Arenal, learn more about Costa Rican cuisine and finally, enjoy the saltwater of the beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula.

Important Notes:
- Transportation in the Deluxe and Luxury range will be private.
- Luxury option will include private flights where possible.
- Rental car with Full Coverage from arrival until end Tambor Airstrip.
- Rental car option does not include the cost of the ferry (Approx. US$25 per way).
- Tours will be shared except in the Luxury range that includes private tours.
- Deluxe range uses hotels and lodges from 3 to 4 stars. Luxury uses the best accommodations at each destination.
- Local flights allow 25 Lbs. checked luggage and 10 Lbs. Carry-on, except for the Luxury option that allow up to 100 Lbs luggage per passenger.
- Flight back home must be later than noon.
Schedule
Day 1: Arrival
After your arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport, our staff members will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel in Bajos del Toro.
Day 2: Bajos del Toro
After breakfast, enjoy a hiking through the cloud forest to an amazing waterfall in the area. Afternoon at your leisure.
Day 3: Bajos del Toro – Arenal
After breakfast, depart for a nice ride to the Arenal Volcano area. During the afternoon, we will take you for a Costa Rican cuisine cooking class.
Day 4: Arenal
Today, we will take you on a hiking to the Arenal Volcano National Park and later enjoy the rest of the day at Tabacon Hot Springs.
Day 5: Arenal – Santa Teresa
After Breakfast depart to Puntarenas, via ferry, a journey across the Nicoya Gulf to “Peninsula de Nicoya “, after the ferry arrived, lets drive to the beach hotel.
– For Deluxe and Luxury option charter flight between Arenal to Peninsula to save time.
– For the rental car options, you will drive to Puntarenas and catch the ferry to Paquera and continue the drive to your hotel.
Day 6 & 7: Santa Teresa
You will have 2 full days at your leisure to relax and explore the quite beaches or take any additional tour an additional cost.
Day 8: Departure
Your international flight must departure later than noon to avoid an overnight in the city, you will take a flight back to San Jose to connect with your flight back home.
For the rental car options, you must drive to Tambor airstrip, return the car to an agent and check in for your flight back to San Jose.
