- For this package must arrive and depart from San Jose Airport (SJO).
- Rental car with Full Coverage from day arrival until departure.
- Transportation in the Affordable range is shared, Deluxe and Luxury will be private.
- Luxury option include private charter flight from Caribbean coast to Arenal Volcano and from Arenal Volcano to North Pacific coast.
- Tours will be shared except in the Luxury range that includes private tours.
- Deluxe range uses 3 to 4 stars hotels and Luxury uses the best accommodations at each destination.
- Flight back home must be later than noon.
Schedule
Day 1: Arrival
After your arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport, San José, one of our staff members will escort you to your hotel. Upon arrival check in at your hotel.
Day 2: San José – Puerto Viejo
After breakfast get ready for the drive to the Caribbean coast. A journey via land through Braulio Carrillo National Park till the jungle beach paradise of Puerto Viejo. Upon Arrival check in at your hotel. (Local flight for luxury option).
For the rental car option, you will meet an agent from the rental car at front desk and will get your SUV to depart to Caribbean area on your own.
Day 3 & 4: Puerto Viejo
Today your adventure starts with the snorkeling tour at the largest system of coral reefs in the country at Cahuita’s National Park. After this, visit a beautiful sloth sanctuary full of life. The day after, enjoy a relaxing day by the beach.
Day 5: Puerto Viejo – Arenal
Today you will depart to the Arenal volcano area in the center of the country. The magnificent view of the Arenal volcano is the sign you are near to you next destination. Once you get there, check into your hotel.
For the Luxury option you will take a private charter flight from Limon city to Arenal.
Day 6: Arenal
Walk through the rainforest, step on ancient lava flows, and have unique views of the volcano. At the end of the hiking, you will visit Tabacon Hot Springs.
Day 7: Arenal – Papagayo
Enjoy the last view of the volcano before your trip to Guanacaste province. The journey will be full of savannas, landscapes and tropical dry forest. Upon arrive check into your hotel.
For the Luxury option you will take a private charter flight from Arenal to Liberia city.
Day 8 & 9: Papagayo
Enjoy two full days of relaxation and enjoyment at the beach.
Day 10: Departure
Transfer to the local Airstrip. At your arrival, check in into your local flight back to Juan Santamaria International Airport, San José. As soon as you get back to the capital city one of our staff members will escort you to the International departures for your flight back home (flight back home must be later than noon).
For the rental car option, you will return the car at Liberia airport and take the local flight back to San Jose.
*If you could depart out of Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport, Liberia, that would be a better option.
