General information

Overview

Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge is a 165-acre private preserve located within the Golfo Dulce/Osa Peninsula, a biologically intense nook of the country. This unique place is sensitively designed. Constructed with wood from fallen trees, it uses solar energy to generate electricity.

The cabins are built with beautiful hardwood floors, mosquito netting over the beds, ceiling fans, louver doors and windows and terraces. Some have open air showers for luxurious, under the stars experiences tucked away in the jungle. World-class cuisine is the standard at every stay at the lodge, where three chefs’ prepared, exceptional meals are served each day, accentuating the use of fresh fish, tropical fruits and vegetables.

Fresh squeezed juices and salsas from vivid, exotic mangoes, pineapple, star fruit and coconuts absolutely delight all guests. This amazing mecca for nature lovers and adventure sports enthusiasts of all levels. Dolphin viewing tours, kayaking, snorkeling, long walks on the beach, yoga retreats or viewing incredible sunsets in this tropical paradise is at the fingertips of visitors.
