Nestled amidst lush tropical gardens and huge flowering trees, this comfortable family-run lodge is located on the banks of Sardinal River in Puerto Viejo, Sarapiqui, catering primarily to nature lovers and birders. The rooms are meticulously maintained, located in buildings dispersed around the lush grounds and connected by walkways. Most of them are wheel chair accessible and have beautiful porches facing the gardens with hammocks and rocking chairs, to enjoy the view. Meals at the colorful restaurant include fresh fruits and vegetables, many from their own garden, main courses are carefully prepared by their chef and co-owner Leo Jenkins. Cooking classes are available by special arrangement.
