1. Itinerary Design
Horizontes will design a custom-made itinerary upon request, according to the client’s main interest, average age, physical conditions, time of the year, length of stay and available accommodations. Once the client approves the final itinerary, Horizontes will make the corresponding reservations. Horizontes will immediately inform the client if space is unavailable in any of the approved properties, and will propose modifications if needed. The client will approve the final itinerary prior to final travel commitment.
2. Reservations
Early reservations are essential to guarantee your accommodations on the date that you wish to travel. For guests traveling from November to April and the months of July and August, Horizontes recommends that reservations be made at least six months in advance to secure the availability of space.
3. Payment terms
A deposit of the highest of 20% of the total booking cost or US$500 must be paid to secure the booking.
Certain hotels may require additional deposits to guarantee space, especially during Peak Season. Horizontes will advise the client if any additional amount is required.
The balance of the total payment is due:
  • 45 days prior to the arrival date, during Green Season (May 1st – December 15).
  • 60 days prior to the arrival date, during High Season (January 5 – April 31).
  • 90 days prior to the arrival date, during Peak Season (Holy Week & December 15 – January 5).
If the reservation is requested within the 45 day limit, then it should be paid in full at the time of booking.
