SOME EXTRA TIPS
TLa Paloma Lodge offers sweeping views of the wildly beautiful Drake Bay in the southern Pacific side of the country. The lodge is situated on a 15 acre hillside property backed by the fringe of the forest.
Accessible by boat after docking at the mouth of the Agujas River, a tractor pulled cart carries luggage and guests who prefer not to walk the steep trail leading to the hilltop retreat. Because of the steep trail, guests must be able to walk up hill.
This place invites enjoyable seclusion, a gorgeous pool overlooking the ocean, and delicious home-cooked meals served in the open-air, all-wood dining room.
The lodge has standard and bungalow room styles with ocean views, ceiling fans, wood floors and sun-drenched balconies. Sunset bungalows have two stories and room blocks are connected by trails running through gardens.
Guests can absorb the sense of splendor and adventure of the area, through exciting tours included in the package of choice, plus others that can be arranged by our staff.
