SOME EXTRA TIPS

Tucked away in the trees and cooled by the Pacific Ocean, this extraordinary park sits on a 170 acre private reserve bordering Corcovado National Park. Getting there is an adventure! Wet landing access only and a comfortable tractor-pulled trip uphill takes guests from coast to reception area.

Before arriving at the lodge, there is a spectacular lookout point over the ocean and Caño Island from Margarita’s bar, a charming spot with a 180-degree view. At the entrance drive, the enclosing forest gives way to an oasis of broad, manicured gardens dotted with palm trees, connecting the main buildings and cabins.

Bungalows vary in size; with romantic mosquito netting over beds, sitting area, large bathrooms, wood shutters and ceiling fans. Among its amenities, there are pools for children and adults, library-board game room, direct access to Corcovado National Park via private, self-guided trails and fun tours.

Guests are truly delighted by the attentions of the well-trained staff and the impressive beauty of this lodge.
