Navigating the Tortuguero canals is just an amazing experience, a chance to observe the wildlife of the tropics crossing the greenery as you have never seen it before.  The colossus Arenal will be the second stop of this excitement journey through CR.

Day 1:  

Welcome!


Arrive in San José International Airport. After you have cleared customs you will be welcomed by one of our representatives. You will then be privately taken to the beautiful Rincón del Valle Hotel where you will be spending your first night in the country.

Overnight at Rincón del Valle Hotel; Deluxe room.  Meals not included.

Day 2:  

The Canals

Between 6:00 and 7:00 am you will be picked up at the hotel for your trip to the North Caribbean region where Tortuguero National Park is located. On the way you will pass through cloud forests of Braulio Carrillo National Park and banana plantations on the Caribbean slope before a two-hour boat trip to Tortuguero. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the area.

Day 3:  

Experimenting the Real Jungle

Enjoy a jungle boat tour through the rain-forested waterways of Tortuguero National Park.  A natural wonderland of coastal forest and inland waterways, Tortuguero can only be accessed by water or air. You’ll explore by boat along the park‘s rivers and canals. Thirteen of Costa Rica’s 16 endangered mammal species make their home in the tranquil Caribbean deltas of Tortuguero, and green, leatherback, hawksbill, and loggerhead turtles nest here. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities.

Day 4:  

Admiring a Perfect Cone

During the morning, a boat and bus transfer will be provided back to the Caribbean region.  Once there you will have lunch in a local restaurant and then meet a local driver who will take you on a private transfer service to the Northern plains of La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano

Overnight at Arenal Springs Hotel; Junior Suite. Breakfast included.

Day 5:  

Walking on  Air


Following breakfast, you’ll be picked up to join one of Arenal’s top tours; you’ll walk “hanging” bridges suspended high up in the forest for stunning Arenal views. Tonight you’ll enjoy a relaxing soak in some beautiful hot springs.

Overnight at Arenal Springs Hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 6:  

Good-bye!

At a convenient time, you’ll have a private transfer to San José International Airport, where you will board your flight home. End of our services.
