Costa Rica: Jewels of Costa Rica
Costa Rica vacation

Want to get really close to nature? Costa Rica, with its unspoiled scenic beauty and rich ecological habitats, is a grand slam when it comes to viewing wildlife.

This exclusive, activity-oriented Costa Rica vacation - with frequent nature walks, swimming, and boat excursions - features four of the country's "jewels": the exquisite Monteverde cloud forest, home to the resplendent quetzal, sacred bird of the Maya; the postcard-perfect beaches and rich primary rainforest of Corcovado National Park on the remote Osa Peninsula; Arenal volcano (one of the world's most active volcanoes) in Arenal National Park, a pastoral countryside retreat with a canopy walkway, thermal hot springs; and Laguna Caño Negro, where wildlife abounds along a wild river. Expert, enthusiastic naturalist guides make every minute fascinating. You'll think you're back in Ecology 101 (but our trip is way more fun!). And bring the kids! This is our most popular Costa Rica family vacation.
