Day 4By boat and plane to San José, drive to Arenal volcano. Afternoon nature walk, soak in hot springs. Nighttime viewing of Arenal Volcano! Day 5By boat along the Río Frio to Laguna Caño Negro for fantastic water bird viewing, as well as sloths, monkeys, caiman, and basilisk lizards. Day 6Canopy walk at Arenal, drive to Monteverde cloud forest. Nature walk and night spotlighting for tropical owls and mammals. Day 7Nature walk and a visit to the Hummingbird Gallery in the cloud forest of world-famous Monteverde Reserve, surely one of the most beautiful forests in the world!
